Beep Noise From installing new ram memory?

I recently purchased memory to replace the stock ram in my macbook7,1 mid 2010. I purchased the ram card's at MemoryDepot.com! I purchased the ram on this website because when i was in the Vancouver, British Columbia official apple store, the representitive informed me that " Apple's Ram cards for your model of computer are way to expensive and that sometimes they do not respond to you computer, I have found a good resource for ram for your Macbook. It is cheap go to MemoryDepot.com" That is what the rep. said. So i went to this website and matched my model numbers and code numbers for the ram from apple that was $210 and then i went to the Memory Depot website and purchased an upgrade, witch was from 2Gb (Stock) to 4Gb.

1 day after i purchased the memory from this website, a rep. from Memory Depot phoned my house phone asking to speek with me. He said that the ram model that i was going to purchase was out of stock. He said that i am going to get 1 samsung ram card (2Gb) and another ram card from another company. He Garunteed the ram to work in my macbook. So i said okay.

2 Days later i got the ram to my house. I went to the apple support website and downloaded and printed the ram memory upgrade guide and followed it to install my new ram. I installed the new ram and closed my macbook and attemped to boot my computer. When i turned it on it was showing a black screen with a sound going, the sound was Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep... (It was about 3 seconds from Beep to Beep). It kind of scared me, so i removed the new ram and installed my old stock ram cards.

The ram that you purchased is simply not compatible with your machine or defective ! Do double check this by reinstalling the ram and making sure it is firmly seated and trying to restart. If the same symptoms occur, contact the vendor and arrange for a return. There is nothing you can do to rectify the situation other than installing the correct type which is 2 - 204-pin PC3-8500 (1066MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM. For third party ram I use macsales.com and I have nothing but good to say about them.
