Camera not working on MacBook Air/iMac after Lion install!!!

Hi - my camera on my macbook Air or on my iMac is not working for any aplication (photobooth, isight, facetime) after I loaded Lion.

Worked perfectly up until then.

I get the error message that there is no camera detected.

Since it is the same problem on both machines, it can't be a hardware problem.

Help!

I'm having the exact same issue. My cam was working perfectly fine on my 2009 macbook pro until I downloaded Lion. Now, whenever I try to use PhotoBooth, Facetime, or anything that requires the built-in iSight cam, it says something like "there is no camera detected". If anyone has heard of a solution for this, a post would be most appreciated!

I have the same issue, but mine the isight built in Camara is looking broken. I went to Genius bar and they told me that I have to sent it for repairment, which I did. They changed the whole monitor ( with the iSight ) on my MacBook Air. I just go it today and it's still the same. I think it's the software of the iSight ( if the iSight have

one ).

• If Apple's http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090 suggestions do not help you, you may need to

• use Disk Utility to repair permissions and then download and apply the 10.7.2 Combo Update: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1459

• Repair permissions again immediately following the system restart that completes the Combo update.

The Combo version of updates can sometimes correct strange problems like yours.
