How do you close documents in Preview?

Right click only closes Preview. I have multiple documents that I can't close and are there every time I use Preview. Been there for weeks already. Doesn't matter if I force quit Preview or reboot the computer. Can't find an instruction anywhere.

If you're just quitting Preview from the Dock icon, in Mac OS X 10.7 Preview will reopen all the documents that were open when you quit the application, as will any application that supports Autosaving. If you don't want that to happen, go to the General system preference and uncheck the box that says "Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps".

Otherwise, close the document by clicking the red button in the upper-left of the document window, or by selecting the "Close Window" command under the File menu or pressing Command-W, before you quit the application.

Regards.
