How can I sync my Iphone to someone else's computer without losing my music and apps and without the person who owns the computer losing their Itunes music,apps,pictures etc?

You don't syncing is with one computer
You cannot. The iPhone is designed to sync media to one and only one iTunes library at a time. If you are trying to get music from someone else's library onto your phone, that's called theft.
I am very aware of what theft is my dear...my computer has simply crashed and I would like to be able to update my phone on my partners computer, with my own separate library. Thanks though. ;*
Either way, iphone will sync itunes content and pics with only one computer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content from the iphone and replace with content from the new computer. Sorry.

If you authorize the computer with your ID you can transfer purchases. For other content find a 3rd party program.
It ideal to have a backup though
In that case, what you need to do is create (or have your partner create) a separate user ID for you on the computer you will be using. Log in as yourself, and copy the backup of your iTunes library to the appropriate place in your user profile. Check iTunes to make sure everything is there, and set up the phone to sync. Any media will be erased from the phone and replaced with media in what will now be YOUR iTunes library. You will have to be careful (as will your partner) to make sure the correct person is logged into Windows BEFORE attempting to sync or you both risk accidentally wiping your phones and syncing data you don't want.
It was not apparent from your initial post that there had been a problem with your computer. It appeared on first read to imply that you simply wanted to get media from someone else's machine onto your phone.

I have just came across this thread and I think I have a similar problem. My old laptop (7 years old) is slowly but surely dying, its can take up to 10 minutes to start and constantly freezes. I was wondering how do I use another itunes to transfer music to my iphone. I tried to upload a cd onto my phone but it wouldnt let me. I got the music into my library but couldnt drag it into my iphone. I was going to click manage music manually but it was going to wipe all content which I dont want to do. I am not overly techy so id you have a dummy's guide as to how I can overcome this problem I would be very grateful. Many Thanks
You will need to backup all media on your computer to an external drive to transfer to a new one. Then you can sync from that system. If that is not an option you will need to find a 3rd party program to transfer contents of the phone to a new computer so that nothing is lost
