How to import movies from Sony camcorder dcr-sx15? It is not on the list, just Built-in cam in MacBook.

Generally you should not just hook the camera up to the Mac, but also as a second step put the camera into VCR/Playback mode and also plug the Camera's power adapter into the wall. These might be enough to get the Mac to see the camera. Also, try rebooting the Mac with the camera powered up and see if that helps too.
