I would like to capture the audio only into Garage Band from the miniDV tapes in my Canon camcorder (AVI format). I'd then like to export the arraqngement in iTunes to burn onto a CD. How can I do this please?
BTW these are movies that I took, and I also have them captured on Final Cut Express.

If you have the sound files in avi format, you can put them directly into iTunes. What exactly do you want to use GB for?

Just export the audio tracks from Final Cut.

My idea of using GB was mainly because I am familiar with that, and could visualize the steps, but your suggestions of going direct into iTunes, even using the audio from FCE, are very helpful. I'll give it a go...Keith
