Why cant I send emails on my iPad 2.

Hi I am trying to send an email,but it is saying that my email address was rejected by the server, why is this? Can someone shed some light on this please,I have an iPad 2 wi-fi only model,I can receive emails fine.but can't send.

My provider is BT so do I need to change my settings or something ? .

The account's settings on the iPad : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and tapping the account on the right-hand side. How did you set up the email accound on the iPad - did you do it manually by typing in all the details on the iPad, or did you sync the account's settings via iTunes on your computer ?


Also have you been able to receive emails to the account on the iPad ?
