I recently changed the email on my account. It shows up on the apple store etc. However whenever I go to update my apps the old email pops up on the Apple ID. I can't seem to be able to change this. Can anyone help?
Did you also change you ID in settings in your iTunes account on your computer? You need to if you have not.
Where would I do this? I'm on the Itunes account and I don't see this.
Click on settings>store then click your Apple ID, when the pop up window opens select sign out, then sign back in with your new email address.
I've done this and the correct email address is on the settings>store but when I try to update the apps on my ipad the old email address pops up.
If you are in iTunes make sure you are on the iTunes Store window then click on your name at the top right of the window.
the email you downloaded those particular apps with will display when they are updating.
This has the correct email address the only place the old one shows up is when I try to purchase or upadate on my ipad. I can't seem to be able to change it.

Yes. You can only update the apps with the Apple ID that you used to purchase them. You will have to sign in with the old ID to update them.
It won't let me sign in under my old account. How do I add the old account back on to my current account?
