Why can't I get a verification email from My Apple ID?

I'm having a problem signing into Facetime, it says my apple ID account has not been verified so I go to My Apple ID and sign in and click verify in order for it to send me an email. It doesn't be anything. It doesn't send an email it goes through the process of refreshing but I know that normally if it sends an email, a message comes up saying an email was sent. I don't get this and when I check my mail account nothing comes through. Please help me with this problem.

Kristen this is a user to user forum, Apple does not read nor participate in them. If you are still have having difficulty your computer maybe covered by AppleCare if it is less than 90 days old or you already bought it. You can find the phone number in the manual, they're open M-Saturday during business hours and should be able to help you out.
