I want to sync my Safari bookmarks from a Macbook Pro running OS 10.6.8 to a Macbook Air running OS 10.7.1 There is no Library in my home folder on the Macbook Air. The Library on the Hard Drive does not contain the folder path Library>Safari>Bookmarks.plist Where are the Safari bookmarks stored in Lion?

The same location as before, except that Library is hidden in Lion. Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu and enter ~/Library/Safari/ as the path.

Thanks Niel, that was very helpful. I was able to move my bookmarks to the Macbook Air, no problem. Why is the Library hidden? How can I permanently make it visible?
1. So that people who don't know enough to access it won't be able to damage stuff by tinkering with it.
2. Open the Terminal in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and run:
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
