Apple tv not showing any movies or tv shows to rent.very confusing as music and podcasts allows me to buy media but in movies and tv shows I can only view trailers. Any tips please!? Other than reset.

Check that you have your location entered correctly in the iTunes Store settings.

You might also try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for a 30 seconds.

Me too. Lots of threads telling you to reboot or remove cables for several minutes which doesn't work.

Several answers saying its a bug Apple are working to fix.

In my experience, Apple are never in a hurry to fix problems on their overpriced rubbish!

Ruined my only free evening and if not sorted quickly i will ditch every Apple product i have and NEVER darken their doorstep again!

There is a fault with iTunes and apple tv 1
