Register iTunes account without credit card

Hi.

I just bought my new iPod.

I am trying to register my Apple ID with iTunes and it asks me for a credit card, which I don't have.

I visited this page, and even I don't like the idea of creating a new Apple ID, I did try what it says, but the option "None" when selecting the credit card does not appear.

So meanwhile I can't seem to install any app from the App Store!

Please help
