I deleated photos which I didn't realise were in iPhotos how do I restore all photos as of yesterday ?

Did you empty the trash?
Thanks for advise ,no back up but I hadn't emptied the trash . Made a new file ,selected all in the trash file and transfered all to new file and dragged it into the iphoto icon which then transfered all deleated files and pictures back , so all is restored much to my relief .

Note that if you do not have a backup you will lose all of your files and photos sooner or later - computers, software and humans all fail and your only protection is a good backup - I do two daily myself - a daily clone of my system and Time Machine
