help when i go to a hot corner it shows dashboard desktop 1 and then desktop 2

Show Mission Control and then hover your mouse to Desktop 2. You will see an X icon on the top left corner of that dashboard and then click it to delete that dashboard.

If you don't want Dashboard as a desktop but would rather have it operate the old way, Go to System Preferences > Mission Control > uncheck "Show Dashboard as a space".
