Hi,
I have the latest version of iTunes (10.4.1) and a brand new Macbook Pro (13").
When trying to burn CD's in iTunes there is no way to add CD-text. I know that you can select the option, but for me the option is grey instead of black and it's not possible to select it.
MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-8A8:
Firmware: HA13
Anybody knows why this is and how to fix it?

That "Include CD-Text" option becomes available if you have already selected "Audio CD."
It's standard on Audio CD, when doing it manually it still remains grey and not selectable.

Herman, I am not sure what you mean by "manually." CD-Text is a format that only applies to Audio CDs. See more information here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CD-Text
If you have chosen "Data CD" or "MP3 CD," CD Text will not be selectable, and in fact is not needed, since those formats allow any file manager to list the files by name. Are you using "Audio CD"?

Yes I have selected the Audio CD. By manually selecting it I ment; first select something else (like Data CD) and then reselect Audio CD.
I'm afraid that my MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-8A8 does not support writing CD-text, but that would be very odd at the same time since it's the default burner.
Herman, OK. I am running 10.4.0 and it works normally, but who knows. Perhaps it is a new problem in 10.4.1, or as you suggest may be a limitation of your hardware.
