Altec Lansing iML227 speaker
I cannot get sound to come from this speaker-the only cord that comes with it is a USB plug/cord. I appreciate anyone's help with this. Thanks.

Try plugging it into the USB port of the computer (not a hub, directly into the computer), and then open up System Preferences, choose Sound, and select the Output tab. See if the Altec-Lansing is recognized as one of the choices. If it is, click on it and see if you hear anythign from them then.
