Buttons do not work on my iPod Shuffle from the first moment i bought!

Hi there,

I bought an iPod Shuffle recently. From the very first usage I figured out the buttons are not working (except for voiceover and on/off/shuffle switch).
When I try to press and hold the play button to unhold the buttons it doesnt respond at all, no light code, nothing!
I tried restarting it many times but no use. By the way I have the last version of ipod and iTunes software installed. I use a PC.

Any suggestions? Please help.
