I'm facing the same exact problem. I'm trying to restore lion while on my company's enterprise WPA wireless - and I can't connect because of this certificate authentication request.

Me too. Anyone know how to solve the problem?

Hi, I called Apple Support this day, and the answer is that enterprise WPA wireless is NOT supported by Lion Internet Recovery.
You can find the supported configurations and protocols on Apple site:

When it comes up with the "Show Certificate", "Cancel", "Continue" dialog, click "Show Certificate" then untick "Always trust this certificate"
Then it doesn't need to store it in the certificate store and doesn't need to authenticate you.
