audit space low (< 5% free)on audit log file-system

Hi,

my imac suddenly logs out and logs in after starting..


i have tried cmd +V and cmd +S and see that i get a warning


audit space low (< 5% free)on audit log file-system


i have 1Tb HD, and have now 5gb free. normal i had even les free... so it should work...


i haven't updated anything.. and im runing Snow LP



can someone please help...


ps. Im a noob... so explain everything clear step by step plz..

I have fount te problem..


it seems that it was some kind of virus.. i had readed somewhere that it could be the security option to auto logout...


so it could be a virus that had adjust the autologout to 1seconds...so after 1 second you get loged out..


How can u fix this?

1. start up single user mode holding CMND + S

2. /sbin/mount -uw /

3. CD /Library/

4. rm Preferences (or rename it to Preferences.backup)

5. exit (restarts)


then it will make new preferences file... so the problem is fixed
