Why is 960x720 in an H264 compression of HD not 16:9?

I'm trying to Compress a 2GB HD 6min 35 Quick TIme Video file, to send it via YouSendIt to the mixer. I've tried H264, and ProRes Settings, at the same Frame Size as my Sequence : 960x720. Each time the Quick Time comes out at 4.3 Ratio instead of 16.9. Could you help me with this Frame Size issue?

960x720 is 4:3. Why are you expecting 16:9 from that?

Sheer ignorance on my part. But I went back to Export through Quick TIme Conversion, and in the Options found the 16.9 Ration. All's well. With what I don't know one could write a book. I thought Frame Size was equivalent to Aspect ratio...

Your sequence is DVCPRO HD? 960x720 can be 16:9, with a non-square pixel aspect ratio.
