Sending in my ipod to be fixed by manfacturer

i was wondering what i need to do to send my ipod minin in to be fixed who i should call or ne thing just today my ipod got a folder with an exclemation point and all my songs were erased and i have only had it for 5-6 monthes and alrdy the battery life is only about an houir or two on a full charge without the backlight on and im jsut having a lot of troubles so ne help would be gretly appreciated
