Hi this is a question for people who own a mac and windows computer. I just wanted to know if I write something on Microsoft office for MAC and then save it on my USB, will I be able to read and edit the file on my Windows PC? if not how can I do that? Thanks so much!!
If you format that USB thumb drive as Fat-16 or FAT-32, it should read and open it fine.
Aside from the actual physical drive format as noted above, a word document created on a mac should be readable and editable on a pc and vise versa.
More often the problems are with which vendor USB drive case than anything.
And if you want to stay NTFS to retain metadata or something, NTFS driver for Mac OS such as Paragon will mount and copy just fine and allow large files and volumes.
