I have been experiencing trouble trying to connect my macbook pro to the Savin C3528 at my office. I have downloaded the driver but cannot seem to connect to the printer. Help, Im sick of asking coworkers to print stuff for me!!!
Postscript is an optional plugin card for this printer - most Windows shops don't buy the postscript add-on. But, the downloadable driver for OS X is a postscript driver.
Add the printer using IP > HP Jetdirect protocol, and for driver select "Generic PCL laser."
Greg's response is correct. If you can get the printer to work with the Generic PCL Laser driver, then you should download and install the pxlmono driver package. That has a driver specific to your printer. It will have all the features that might be present on your Savin.
