Find my ipad???

Are there any other apps to locate my ipad or iphone if it is stolen??

Something which is hopefully better password protectded?

A friend of mine recently had his ipad snatched from a restaurant table while it was in use and therefore not protected by a password.

The thief simply disabled the 'find my ipad' app immediately so it was untraceable - and un-wipeable!

It would be so useful to have this facility in a hidden file with a seperate password so at the very least, sensitive personal information could be erased (I know there are some app's where you can hide pictures in a secret file)
