Using lion, I can get different desktop backgrounds for each spaces screen. Is this a bug or is it actually a feature of lion i overlooked whilst reading about it?
macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.6.5), 2.4 GHz intel core duo , 4gb 1067 Mhz ddr3
It's a feature - you need to move the System Preferences window to each desktop to set it.
This makes it easier to see the different desktops in Mission Control.
