Ripping from SACD (super audio CD)

I have a CD that is a Hybrid SACD which is designed to be played in both CD and SACD players (Ege Bamyasi by Can). When I try to access the CD in my drive (which is a DVD R/RW), it doesn't recognize it and won't let me do anything with it. Is there some kind of patch or driver, or whatever that will let me access a hybrid SACD? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

The SACD content cannot be ripped, because no SACD capable drive for computers actually exists.

DVD drives have problems reading hybrid CD's because of the lasers used. Basically, SACD players use similar lasers to DVD drives, letting them see that SACD layer. A DVD drive, when it tries to determine if the thing is a CD or a DVD, first tries the DVD laser and sees that SACD layer, but it can't make sense of it. Which means that it fails to read the disk at all.

Try a CD-ROM drive instead of a DVD-ROM drive. Or just try another DVD drive if you have one lying about, sometimes they work okay. But the basic gist of it is that it's a hardware compatibility thing, and there's no guarantees that your hybrid SACD will work in any non-SACD drive at all.

My 2 cents is to avoid SACD and DVD-A altogether, as they're mostly a scam. But that's just my opinion.
