I'm giving one of my iPads to my brother so I want to delete all my data. Is there a way to save it to a device before the deleting if not , bummer.

Yes......connect to iTunes and sync your iPad, which create a backup. Then wipe the data off your iPad before giving to your brother. When you get your new iPad, connect to iTunes and once you've got it up and running, you then restore from the backup you created from your original iPad.
