Samsung ML 1670 Printer not working?

Recently purchased a Samsung ML 1670 printer. Installed the drivers from Samsung's website. When I try to print a test page it spits out "Internal Error - Please use the proper driver". The driver version I have is SPL 5.49. Anyone have any tips?

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Whew, I can't even find Samsung listing that, nor what driver might be the latest...
