Out of Warranty Battery Replacement Question

If I were to do this can i do it at my local applestore/Genius bar? And are the ipod touches that you get if refurbished reliable and good to use as a brand new one ?? Thanks

Yes, you can arrange to take it in to the Apple Store. Refurbished units are good as new and warranted for a full year.

If your battery is failing under apple warranty. They usally replace it am I correct?
