Kernel panics since Lion. iMac 27'' mid 2010.

Hi all !


I'm experiencing kernel panic since I upgraded to lion on the first day it was available.


I updated to 10.7.1 hoping improvements... but no !


I called the Apple Express Lane Assistance for help last Friday.

- They asked me to reboot disconnecting EVERY cable. it didn't help.

- They asked me to reboot pressing cmd+alt+P+R. It didn't help.

- They asked me to delete all files in library statupitems. It didn't help.

- And finaly they asked me to use the hard drive diagnostic tool. I repaired the "permissions" and check the hard drive. But... it didn't help.


I now have to call them back and ask what to do next !


But the Kernel panic happend when I "strongly" use the wifi connection

- I had to download a large file from a ftp (300Mo). I never went to the end. I tried many times, with Chrome, Chrome beta, Safari and Firefox. It always finished with a kernel panic

- It happend many times watching a mobileme photo galery from a friend.


Maybe it's hazard... maybe not.

Does some of you have experienced the KP without wifi activated ? without Internet access ?

Does some of you are using Ethernet cable to access Internet ?


I use a iMac 27'' mid 2010.

Internet connection via wifi protected with WPA (TKIP + AES). channel used : 8
