Preview app taking too long to launch

I recently upgraded to Lion. For the most part, I haven't had any issues. However, the Preview application takes too long to launch. Regardless of what I'm previewing (JPEG, PDF, etc), it takes almost 30 seconds to a minute to fully launch.

Has anyone experienced this problem? If so, have you found a resolution?
