1) You cannot download any program to your ipad, except via the itunes app store.

2) As has been discussed here over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again, Adobe does not make a flash player for ipad/iphone/ipod.

Please do a forum search. You will find countless posts on this. There is no need to add another.

Flash is not, and probably never will be, supported on the iPad : http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/ . Plus it would be up to Adobe to make a version of their flash player that works on iOS devices - something which they have never managed to do and which they have now given up on trying to do.

Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter and Puffin 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store, so your could try checking there for your sites (and there is the built-in YouTube app).

There is a search field on the right-hand side of this page - if you want more info use that and you'll get hundreds of other threads on the subject

For the exact same reason you cannot load Adobe Flash onto your washing machine.

ADOBE HAS NOT CREATED A VERSION FOR IT (Your washing machine or your iPad).

Well, I, for one feel mislead. Kenmore NEVER informed me of that.

It works fine on my Maytag.

You are wrong. Adobe will not write a version of flash fo iOS that is the reason why.

Allan

That may or may not be true and no one at our level will ever find out for certain.

I've had nothing but Apple computer products in my house since somewhere around 1981 (starting with the 2c) and I'm certainly an Apple fanboy. They produce excellent products. However, I use a lot of Adobe software (PS/CS5, LR and Acrobat Pro, to name a few) and I'm also an Adobe fanboy. They produce excellent software. This is a classic pizzing contest between Apple and Adobe and I, for one, don't want to get in the middle.
