I have Ivory II, Vienna Konzerthaus and Garritan Personal Orchestra and I would like to use them with Garageband ILife '11. Is this possible? I would like to use the software that I already have for domestic use, without having to purchase Logic.

Yes you can use them in GB. If you have already installed the AU version of them on your machine then they should alrey be avaliable in your list of Audio Units.
1. With a software track highlighted, click the Edit TAB in the info pane on the right side of GB's UI. Click the top line option of the 'Sound Generator.' You will be presented with two lists of 'Modules.' The bottom list is where you will find your 3rd party software instruments.
