I have tried to call an iphone 4 numerous times and my ipad keeps ringing whilst iphone 4 says 'connecting' but nothing happens. Software updated on both devices and no secuirty issues. Have disabled and re-enabled face time and turned both devices on and off again several times. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

PS I am calling iphone 4 phone number from ipad 2; and apple id from iphone 4 but this doesn't work. Both devices ring but when I answer the call the call is not connected.

There have been a number of posts with the same sort of problems. Some advice changing your dns, but before you go doen that road, try the easy stuff. Reboot the pad, and reboot your router. See if that gets the connection going.
