40GB iPod (dock connector) needs a new battery

I have a 40GB iPod (dock connector) which has the Touch Wheel instead of the Click Wheel and also four control buttons above the Touch Wheel. It is also referred to as the Third Generation iPod and I purchased it from The Apple Store on a sunny day in New York during September 2003. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1353 Anyway I am now living in Qatar and wonder the best way to arrange for a replacement battery to be installed ?
