After installing mac os lion, why does a codemeter icon show up on my desktop?
I know this is an old thread but since the answer wasn't noted. I just noticed this issue recently and discovered that it is coming from a USB dongle that was supplied by Propellerheads Reason software to handle its licensing. So check any USB dongles or drives to isolate which one it is coming from.
I have not yet upgraded to Lion due to a bug casing ArchCAD to run very slow. BUT, I am running MacOS 10.6.8 and the latest driver for Codemeter and a Codemeter 'drive' icon is showing on my desktop as well. If I unplug the Codemeter dongle, I get the removed drive error message. Have searched the wibu.com site, but can't seem to find any solutions to the problem.
