Restarting iPhone without lock button

Not possible.
You have several good ways to Restart your iPhone.
1. You can let your battery run all the way down, your iPhone will turn OFF and then you charge it back up, it will turn ON in less than 4 minutes. You should be doing this once to a couple times per month for best battery performance anyway, according to the most experienced users on this forum.
2. You can squeeze (pinch) the Power Button top corner front glass to the back case while pushing the Power Button and the Power Button will usually function.
3. Settings App>General>Reset near bottom>Reset Network Settings. This will restart your iPhone, and I believe this will function fairly close to or exactly like a Hard Reset. Nothing will change on your iPhone.
4. Settings App>General>Reset near bottom>Reset All Settings. This will restart your iPhone, it will not delete anything, but it will reorganize things like Apps. I do not like using this feature myself.
Thank you for the suggestion Brad805, I like the first suggestion the best and it worked.
I appreciate the feedback.

Enable Assistive Touch:Tap settings, General, Accessibility, AssistiveTouch and tap AssistiveTouch to on. Tap the dark circle to open the assistive touch menu, then tap Device and tap and HOLD the lock screen icon. This will bring up the iPhone's Power-Off slider
Please look at the time/date stamp on every thread before replying. Adding comments to a 2 year old thread that has already been marked as solved provides no benefit.
Well, this thread still shows up first on Google, and its a better solution than the original resolution to the probem, is it not...?
Not really - the opening post said his power button doesn't work and he wanted to reset. If he follows your advice and turns his iPhone off, how does he turn it back on again?
By connecting it to a power source. iOS devices auto start when connected to the charger or to a computer via USB cable.
I agree with Jokin Gonzalez the second solution 2 years later using the assistive touch button is better for me as I searched for this answer it was first on google I prefer markmurphz solution. And I just plugged my device into a computer and or charger and it powers on.
You're full of crap, buddy -- not only was your reply to the issue totally off base, but there is always benefit in adding additional information. Mind your own business if you're not going to contribute.
Actually, please don't speak for the rest of us DieselVdub. Are you the forum police. I actually benefitted from MarkmurphZ's answer "2 years later!" I think repeating an answer to a question or being redudant is inappropriate, however a new answer to a 2 year old problem is totally appropriate.
Even though this is 2 years later it worked like a charm, thanks!
It worked for me, so thank you. I also Googled it and this was the first answer that came up!
