iphone gone blank after erasing all content and settings, i did restore too

I decided give my iphone4 to my sis, so i did a reset selecting erase all content and settings. It just took a minute or so.

After than when i swithced it on nothing appeared on the home screen it was blank. I connected to itunes and it said restore from past backup and did so. But now i only have third party apps in my iphone but no settings and other icons as came with new phone. There is nothing except third party apps and those apps also came after itunes restored it to back date.

please help me how to get out of this mess and blank screen.
