I just bought a new PC with Windows 7 and cant locate all of my Itunes TV shows. music and movies

I just bought a new PC with Windows 7 - I tried to pull all of my thousands of songs, movies and tv shows in off of a network and cant do it. I had crashed a few years ago and the extension they had me search for each of these helped me recover all of my music before. Can anyone tell me what the extensions are so I can search my whole network and find all of these?

Yes I thought if I backed it up to this huge drive I would be safe but have lost all of my TV shows I bought, several movies I bought and some music.

I had crashed my laptop in 2009 and they helped me recover it all and they used file extensions for the ones not located back then.

It looks like the system better organized now but everytime I try to bring it old stuff it duplicating music not the TV or movies I bought.

Try this: First, make sure you have the most recent version of iTunes. You can do this by launching the Apple Software Update program. If you are connected to the Internet, click iTunes Store in the left. Then, Click Sign In in the Upper Right, the type in your Apple ID and Password. After that, click Purchased on the right. You should see a list of everything you bought in the iTunes Store. You can download Music, TV Shows, iOS Apps, and Books.

This might not help get your movies back, but it will prevent it from happening again. First, in iTunes, press ctrl and , at the same time to open your preferences. Then, Click the Advanced button. Check that "Keep iTunes medianfolder organized" and "Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to Library" are checked. This will prevent it from haopening again, because your media will all be in one place.
