Note that if liquid spilled into your MBP, you should turn it off, put it in a dry place and not turn it back on for at least several days, preferably a week. (Do not try the "rice trick" that you might find recommended online, it will just get into your keyboard, optical drive and other places and cause you more problems.)

Unfortunately, since you've been using it, the damage may have already been done... but perhaps you've gotten lucky. You'd still better shut it off and let it dry thoroughly before doing anything else with it, or you risk that liquid causing a short and frying some vital (and expensive) component.

Also, if that liquid was anything other than water, it will have left sugars and other things behind, and that can also cause shorts, so you still may have trouble.

Ultimately, if you have any problems that don't go away after it is thoroughly dry, you're going to be looking at hardware repairs.
