Issues with Preview

Ever since I downloaded Lion, whenever I double click a JPEG it opens in Preview, like it should, but it also opens the last 20 or so images I had looked at. It's very annoying. Is there a fix for this?

Preview-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.7)

System Preferences>General. Uncheck the box that says, "Restore windows when quiting...."
