install idvd from applications dvd

I purchased a new MacBook Pro a few weeks ago, just after Lion was released. Upon starting up the machine, I saw it didn't have Lion installed but downloaded the free upgrade from Apple's App Store and created a bootable thumb drive to make the install. To get things off to a fresh start, I wiped the hard drive and installed Lion. I then used the Migration Asst. to bring my docs and apps from my old MacBook.

I then realized I didn't have the latest iLife apps so I inserted the Applications Install DVD that came with the MacBook Pro. The problem is that the iDVD and additional sound packages for GarageBand are greyed out and won't install. What's up with that? How do I get these apps installed?
