DNP DS80 printer to Mac Book Pro via USB

I have a DNP DS80 photo printer that I was told cannot be used with Snow Leopard because of the interface issue with USB devices on Mac Book Pro. I upgraded from Tiger to Snow Leopard recently, and after it the print link to Mac Book Pro was disabled. Can anyone help?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), DNP is the manufacturer of printer

Dave, Thanks for your kind reply. I found out that Apple does not support this printer yet. Meanwhile, I have to downgrade my OS from Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to Leopard version 10.5.6. I need help with this downgrading process because when I load the disk for OS 10.5.6 (Leopard) the message comes up telling me that I cannot load this software in my laptop (Mac Book Pro). I don't know if I have to erase Snow Leopard before loading Leopard, or do something else. I have to tell you that the Leopard disk did not come with Mac Book Pro (it's original OS was Tiger), it is the disk for my iMac G5 and I wonder if it can be used for the laptop. Can you advise!
