howto reset samba to factory defaults in mac os lion server

Hi,

I'm using osx lion server on my mac mini. After upgrading from 10.6.8 to 10.7 I had trouble to connect from windows xp to my samba server on my mac.

Is there any chance to reset the samba server to factory defaults without reinstalling the complete server?

If any further information is needed, please tell me.

Hi,

I just installed LION Server 10.7.3 fresh and clean. SMB access works until I imported the saved opendirectory image from my old server and I switched on the Mobile Account for my MacBook.

After I deleted the old Domain (Admin|Users|Computery) Groups in Server Manager, the smb access works for some time and without knowing the reason, it stopped working again.

So I'm really confused about this issue. Does anyone have an idea what can be done here?
