Can't present from keynotes on Webex

Hope you guys can help.

Hosting a webex via Safari, need to present from keynotes, once I share my desktop the attendees can see my screen, however once I hit the play button to present there is a black screen. My colleague tried from his mac we are getting the same problem.

Recently transfered from a PC, so my macbook pro is new and running on the latest Lion OS X.

If anyone is experiencing the same problem or know how to solve it - would really appreciate your help. 😀

I'm having the same problem, as well.

WebEx application is up to date. So is Firefox/Safari and iWork/Keynote.

What was also odd was the audio was going through, but not of the visuals or video content. Really frustrating.

My colleague got in touch with CISCO webex and they have confirmed that they don't support lion OS and are working on providing a solution. Hence why the compatibility issue.

I have been recommended to install Firefox from the internet onto my mac. Then I can run WebEx from that browser and be able to 'play' my presentation as per normal... to try and see if that works. But I won't get my hopes up...

There is no timeline given from CISCO WebEx for when they will upgrade their system.

Very frustrating indeed.

Are you using Keynotes or Powerpoint ???

I have the same problem - Powerpoint seems to be fine (WebEx/ Safari / Powerpoint:2011) but Keynotes just gives me a black screen

To fix this issue:

Keynote -> Preferences -> Slideshow -> Tick "Allow Exposé, Dashboard and others to use screen".
