Is it safe to download from The Daily OS X?

There are a couple of interesting programs such as "Ten OS X Comma d Line Utilities" that I found that might help me mannage my computer better. I want to make sure this is a safe place. Forgive me for being a bit trepedacious, I've lost 3 computers to viruses in less than 2 months.

Thanks in advance,

ES

That site is reputable. It looks like you're not actually downloading anything... they are all built into OS X. However, if you have lost three computers to viruses in less than 2 months, you may not want to be playing around with command line utilities. Using the command line allows you to access the inner workings of your OS... often times allowing you to access things which are not available through the GUI. If you do not know what you are doing, you can cause irreparable damage.
