I've tried everything. Disk permissions, looking for cache startup files, root account, etc. Nothing is working. I really don't want to erase my entire HD. I've been having problems since I boot camped my Macbook Pro, but now I can't even get into OSX while Windows 7 works just fine.

Did you try starting your Mac with the recovery partition. Then run disk utility on your hard drive, also repair your permissions.
Yes, this was one of the first things I did. Verified, repaired, disk and permissions.
Did you ever find a solution to your problem? I'm having the same thing (Lion, MBP8,2).
Unfortunately, the only solution was to erase my HD and clean install lion. Luckily I had an external HD to back up work and music. It has worked like a charm ever since. Hope you can find an easier way, but I looked around for a couple days and found nothing helpful.
Login loop. Screen turns blue, then reverts back to login.
