how do i bring two projects into one

hi,

i'm having diffuiculty merging two similar projects into one, both projects have a number of tracks each with a coupe of plugins inserted.

i packed the tracks into folders in the each source project, hoping to copy/paste them into a new empty project then unpack the 2 folders to get all the total tracks and their respective inserts....

what i expected was that these folders when pasted in - and unpacked, that i get all the tracks from the source projects and their plugins.

but when i try pasting, some of the tracks from either source project play in each others' mixer tracks - which isnt what i expected. ( i noticed that they are given the same core audio channel)

and if i try to change the conflicting tracks' core audio channel, the inserts are lost suddenly (maybe because its creating new blank core audio channels)

anyone out there with know how to transfer tracks and their settings to other projects?

thanks!

@cctm

that worked, i cant beleive i hadnt spotted that pane after all this time, its sat right there next to the other forms of media.

the import assigned new core audio chans to each of the imported tracks along with bringing in their respective plugsins and setups et al. very contented user suddenly.

great thanks again.
