Any way to buy tv shows from USA???

Thx in advance.

Hi guys, i am just new to itunes, and the only reason i just decided to try it out is cuz i love tv shows, and are some of em that i want to watch in HD, but the problem is , of course they are not available in my country (SPAIN). This should not be a problem since i always watch everything in VO, the big problem is , sadly, i cant buy anything from USA. So, wats the point? i can buy music and other stuff but not tv shows?? so is this so dumb that it wont let me to buy shows aired in USA????. So , i tunes is almost just pointed to USA people, leaving all the rest of the world just abandoned lol?? well, i didnt expect this, i was so happy that i finally will get one of my favourite tv shows in decent quality... and then this ¿any ideas?

Is it that you can purchase it but not download it?

I am assuming that you are using a US Credit / Debit card, and accessing the US iTunes store.

It really isn't just iTunes policy - Even movies purchased on Amazon are not watchable online (through the browser), unless you are physically in the US. (You can still watch if you downloaded before you left the US).

I can buy music and apps from the iTunes store when I am outside the US. I haven't tried purchasing movies though.

UPDATE:

Here's an Idea, if you really really really need to watch movies from the iTunes store, you could rent a mac-mini server based somewhere in the US. You could then "remote" into it and watch the show's through that Mac.

The downside is that Mac hosting is really expensive. You may still be able to download it through your server onto your local machine though. (Ihaven't tried it myself).

Thx for the answer. No, i live in Spain and my debit card is spanish, so as u said, i cant buy USA stuff with a debit card from spain. The reason i asked is that it is so dumb that they dont allow people from other countries to buy stuff of the USA. Not even now that we are in the digital era. 80% of the countries doesnt have even 50% of the ammounth of stuff that the USA people have. For a lot of people, in that situation it is stupid to use itunes for buying something that is not music. So as i see, itunes is a exclusively music seller, as it was years ago, nothing changed (sadly). And i dont buy music so, i guess i should uninstall itunes right away. Bad for apple, they really dissapointed me 😟

Thx anyways 😉

Well, if you don't have a US based credit or debit card, then you can't buy anything from the US store. I buy lots of stuff from the US store when I am travelling.

You can still buy from Spain's store.

Also, this has very little to do with apple. The record companies and movie studios determine what content is available anywhere.

Perhaps you can try getting a paypal account? Maybe that will allow you to purchase from the US Store?

This policy is set by the content providers, i.e. Music, Movie and TV studios and not Apple.

Unfortunately these companies appear to be run by some of the dumbest people on the planet. They are pretty much the only industries that go out of their way to make it impossible for customers to legally buy their products.

KeanuReeves, as i said spain's store is not even 50% filled of wat u can buy compared to the USA store. And almost everytuing i want to buy is not available in the spain's store lol. So theres no point. The thing is, almost all the rest of the world is in the same situation. They shouldnt be allowed in first place to sell shows that are not yet released in bray / dvd or watever, but if they are selling it, wats the problem in allowing other countries to buy it??? is just another dumb strategy to keep waiting people until that shows airs in my country. And that maybe will never happens, as A LOT of shows never reach Spain. So one way or another, we cant "enjoy" and discover some stuff and buy it. If that is wat they want, well they are doing a **** of a job.
