Transfer Anniversary dates to iCal Automatically?

I want my anniversary dates saved in my iphone to be transfered to my iCal. It use to do it I think, can it still?

There is a check box in preferences for Birthdays to be transfered but not anniversary. Is there a way to do this? or why wouldn't apple transfer these anymore...
